We have said it before, and we’ll say it again: Infiniti are pursuing a strange path to establish themselves in the UK and Europe. For a start, Infiniti should surely have set themselves as the antidote to the Lexus hybrid obsession; claimed the market for quality Japanese cars with a sporting edge? But they’ve missed the boat now Lexus appears to have found its sporting mojo under a rock in the basement and is setting out to make the new GS a proper luxury sports saloon.

Infiniti EX Concept: the lowdown
Infiniti is Nissan’s answer to Lexus, a wannabe aspirational and luxurious brand aimed squarely at Audi, Mercedes and BMW's home turf. Nissan has enjoyed a reasonable success with Infiniti in the US, and they're coming to Europe next year. The new EX, shown today for the first time in concept form, is to be unveiled at the New York Motor Show in April - and it will spearhead the launch in Europe in 2008.
Italian tuner Romeo Ferraris has churned out a more aggressive version of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG--the WhiteStorm. Romeo Ferraris mainly tunes Italian rides, like the one wrapped up in its moniker. The house is also known for working with Fiat 500s and Frankensteining carbon-fiber Chevrolet Corvettes and tricked-out Land Rovers.
